M-Lab Moab 240 Grant Walker
The following is a special episode of the M-Lab. It is a conversational recap of The Moab 240 between myself, Graham 'Bush' Muir, my co-host and 240 finisher Michelle Geib; Tony McKendrick, one of my crew and planned pacers for the endeavor; and Grant Walker, the last participant to cross the finish line of this epic adventure.
For those of you who are unfamiliar, the Moab 240 is a 240-mile foot race that begins and ends in Moab, Utah. The course is one giant loop that consists primarily of dirt roads and single-track trails. It offers participants the chance to take on an epic multi-day race against the clock to test their mind and body over a 116-hour period.
While I started the event, I was forced to drop before crossing the finish line. This gave myself and members of my crew the opportunity to help support others who were taking on the challenge.
As always, our goal is to share stories with others in the hopes that they will inspire those listening.
We hope you enjoy the episode.
